Isn't it the truth? I bet you get asked stuff like this more than I do, and of all the people who have ever asked advice about working or learning anything, maybe 2% ever did one thing to follow thru. It's like Woody Allan said, "Success is 80% showing up". I guess that because it's suppose to be their "dream job" most folks aren't prepared for it to also be "work". After working way too many hours without sleep and your hands are sore and you really just want to sleep, it's not all that fun doing what you love (i'll smack the next one who says "at least you're doing what you love" after I go on a rant about no sleep and crazy deadline and clients changing their minds and I'm covered in fiberglass and still finding styrofoam in my hair ..... oops, sorry, i rant

TOTALLY sounds like something I would say!!! Yeah, the sad reality is everyone wants an easy way about things, success without the sweat. I imagine you and I have similar work hours, i.e. 14 hour work days typically.

"It reminds me of (insert character name, IE Yoda, Jaba, Klingon)... you must have been watching when you made it"

(and of course there are no similarities between the two other than being NOT human)

"is that the color it's going to be?"

;P
