Aw, you're so right! <3 While I have no idea about the books, I just wanted someone to actually try and understand Pitch or his reasons for one second, because obviously he just felt alone. (And they all didn't care when he was turning invinsible & was scared?! D: I would feel hurt, too.) At first I thought he was only lying to Jack about that, but he seemed so honest there, that the end really broke my heart.
Still, I liked the movie and the animation. And of course the adorable characters!
