I'm doing at least 4 or 5 layers on the hook part for stability, and 2 on the center pole.

okay then dabbed with brown paint everywhere? haha thank you for helping me 
last thing I wanna do is mess up and waste all that money hahah XDDD I think the hardbest part with be attatching and shaping the foram to make it 3D for the hook my biggest worry haha but maybe if i make it fat enough with paper mache it till look less flat haha since styrofoam is fat and its hard to carve the roundness on non edeges

I then just took an exacto blade and carved the edges way down.
As far as painting: I did two layers of the darkest brown iw anted first, then I drybrushed a lighter brown, and then drybrushed an icy blue. Hope that helps.
