yeah... it's horrible here right now, we finally have some people in who may (and I do say "may"... how much can you trust any of them really?) may be trying to something good, but simply because everything didn't turn around overnight, the other side is screaming that its not working so we should putt the guys who wrecked everything back in... because their ideas worked out so well last time we did... and far too many idiots buy that line of crap!

when thinking about politics, I cant but come to one conclusion: It doesnt matter how good and noble a person is when she goes into politics, cause the game is rigged and the rules are made to corrupt, so it doesnt matter what team or player is on the field, the rules are always the same and the bottom line is that the ones that have to pay for the whole show is always those who can least afford it.
Thats the reason I dont wote, I dont, and have never seen the point in it, I am never going to get anything that is beneficial for me or those around me until they change the game itself and I dont see that happening anytime soon.

probably... I have not voted in a long time myself... I would probably have voted this year, for democrats, simply because the republicans were just SO bad... but they (the republicans) tried to pass a voter ID law in my state, it was challenged and eventually they postponed it because it was impossible for the DMV to get IDs for all the people who needed them... but by the time I found out I could register and vote, there were only like two days left and I had not way to get out and register...

I do think that Obama actually is trying to do what's right... it's not so much that he's corrupted, its that the system is so corrupted that he can't do the right thing against all the rest...

exactly my point, when you get somebody good into office, he/she is bound by the rules of the game and doesnt get a chance to do any good or they slowly become corrupt by trying to manover through all the bullshit and formality.

Voter ID law?

yeah, in my state they wanted a law (actually they did pass it and it's supposed to apply in the next election) that says you have to have a valid state photo ID to vote, driver's license, state issued ID or college ID with expiration date... it was challenged a couple times, and finally one half intelligent judge ruled that since there were nearly a million legal voters without IDs and the DMV could issue at most 70 thousand IDs by election day, that it had to be postponed. But next time you will have to have the valid ID to vote.

sounds like they wanted to exclude a good deal of the voters from voting.
It´s incredible how congress can push laws like these that are obviously an attempt to rig elections to theyre benefit just before the election day.

We get alot of the same shit here, when it´s obvious that the ruling party is going to loose elections they have the habbit of passing insanely impossible laws to fuck up the term for the party that is going to inherit all theyre bullshit or to make a last ditch effort to safe theyre asses and rig the elections. This has been going on for years.

yep... in 2010 republicans won a lot of seats in the House, the Senate, governors of states and state legislatures... and then they all got together and redrew all the voting districts in all the states they could to make sure they would keep winning those states. even with all that, and voter ID laws, limiting early voting (especially in democratic leaning areas) big ad campaigns warning people about the punishment for voting fraud, telling horrible lies about every democratic candidate, we still elected far more democrats than republicans... but they are still acting in Congress like they won the election!

smile and wave to the people and they might not notice that you lost, or, if you stick your head in the sand long enough, reality may have changed when you come up for air.
