The painting troubleshooting here is very good to know (and this does look awesome - I still have a lot of practice to do before I could sculpt a mane like that, heh).

So with the acrylics, do you frequently water them down a bit and then apply several coats? I'd love any "best practice" sort of tips with acrylic pants on these molded figures, especially the 2" 'blind bag' ones. Have a look at my gallery to see the sort of work I like to do, if you *are* inclined to offer tips. =)

I'm not an expert at painting but my friends have given me a lot of tips :D I have no problem with sharing some info. Although, there is some information I can't pass on (I promised to keep it a secret).

Yep, I water down the paint a lot. It makes the finished product look smooth but since it's watered down, you have to paint a loottt more layers. Hmm, I'm not sure what else to say about painting.
