Air Superiority is a big deal man, the F-22 and the JSF are NOT useless, they're probably the most advanced warplanes currently around

anyways, following up on your answer, last time I checked, they do have similarly advanced competition
ie; T-50 PAK-FA, J-20, J-31 and Eurofighter Typhoon
all with similar or even superior capabilities
but I will not deny one saving grace of the F-22A Raptor, Fuel efficency, it is the most fuel efficient combat aircraft around
