if I'm not mistaken, facebook has similar policies. I had to study the entire long agreement thing you get just before you join (the one nobody ever wants to read when they join a website or download a program) as an assignment and it has something along the lines of facebook being able to own content uploaded to it, and how copyrights are made ineffective when content is uploaded to the site. it's been a while since then though, so I wouldn't know if it changed or if I'm remembering wrong, but that's what I got out of it.
