Latrice shrugged to herself, walking over to make sure he was okay. It had been a good few minutes, and she always did have bad eyesight from far away.

"Oi, you alright?" She asked him, the words rolling off of her tounge with a New Zealand accent.

Rhann slightly jumped, looking at the female he didn't not see walking towards him. "A-ah, yes, I'm just fine." He laughed nervously and turned off the music. "Um, did I look worried or anything?" He asked in a soft tone, thinking he might have.

"Nah, you just seemed kinda whipped, that's all." Latrice playfully commented, brushing her green side bangs away from her eyes.

The young black woman looked around for a moment, lifting her aviators to find it was darker than she had thought. They'd better beat it, now. "Hey, I'll walk you the rest of the way home, ya? You don't really know what lurks around here..."

He smiled, the woman didn't seem to want to cause trouble, she actually seemed very nice.
"Thank you, miss!" Rhann's smile got bigger as he got up from the bench and picked up his backpack.
"Ah, that's true... I've just been lucky I have'nt met anyone bad yet."

Latrice nodded, slipping her aviators back over her eyes and grabbing Rhann's book bag from him. "I'll carry this; seems a bit to big for a guy your size." She joked, cracking a smile.

"Ahaa.. Thank you." He put down his phone in his back pocket before they started walking. Then it just hit him that they just met, yet they're both really nice to eachother like they weren't complete stangers. "O-Oh, miss, may I ask what your name is?"

Latrice nodded, "The name's Latrice Orion. We go to the same school, ya know?" She added, keeping her eyes on the sidewalk ahead of them.

"W-we do? I'm sorry, then I haven't seen you very often.." He looked down at the ground, trying to think of when he last saw her. "Hm.. Latrice.. Orion.."
