Jewish is not a race anyone can become Jewish through a formal conversion, you cannot join a race therefore, we are more like a tribe or people. Also stop making us look like racist bigots by using the word goyim. Though some do this, but there are bad people in all religions, creeds, races etc. Also the whole chosen people is a very touchy subject and has many meanings. It doesn't necessarily mean that we are better then everyone else ( some do believe this.), but we are commanded to fulfill certain commandments that non Jews don't. Examples of this are the the dietary laws (kosher or kashrut), covering ones head while going to respective religious sanctuaries.
As an observant Jew, I have never called a non Jew a Goy or Goyim, I find this disrespectful towards other people.
