Also when he talks with Balin (you know, the "Honour, Loyalty, a Willing heart") he's so awesome in that scene. Sometimes smiling kindly to Balin, sometimes with a sad look, a sad smile... aaaw.

Well I thought about the hilt of the sword maybe, shining with the light of the sunset... but a friend said he saw a kind of medal and at first I thought he had a shing medal too, so it's disturbing. It could be the top of the hilt of the sword but it looked like a kind of medal to me... and to my friend.
