The fading thingy is what the pros does in painting, examples: [link] [link] [link]
The truth is, the feet unless isn't a focal point, does not need to be a primary feature. This means fading them into a cameo appearance is more productive than fully featuring the whole body, sounds counter intuitive but it works. I know you're tempted to show every bit of Miko, but too much to show diminishes the focal point and may fatigue the viewer's eyes at where to look. True story.

Anyways for you to make a Korean gaming art from is admirable by default, because their fantasy arts are pretty demanding, equivalent to Guild War, Scarlet Blade and pretty much all these Asian MMORPG has sick arts :w00t:

Btw, Lol @ "bodyfarts!!" dunno if it's a typo but nevertheless

Then ready for more armor drawing, it's like a staple, though great that the ladies usually wears inefficient amount of them and make life easy lol
Again, armor drawing is another set of skills to acquire, the 'fades' comes in handy if it takes too much time to draw.
I guess it's inevitable that you have to include painterly strokes in your art if you are heading towards this path, but it's not essential. There are pros that still retain their clean crisp style in fantasy art, but few.
ImagineFX being a fantasy 'guide' mag will help you out if you still keep tabs on them

Btw, you should get a hardcopy of the mag if you can get it in your country, the CD included with the mag is always golden with educational materials in it :w00t:

well I have a little experience in armors and fantasy stuff :) some of my high school class notebooks are filled with knights, demons and spiritmasters :D

well, it's not exactly the same style what I want to achieve, it's a mix between fantasy and photo-realistism, I often look a Devil May Cry or Final Fantasy for references.

oh man, if I only could get a physical version of the magazine u_u it doesn't exist here in my country. and to buy it I'll have to ship it from the US and it's too expensive :D so I have to stick to the occasional digital version :D
