This has style! Wow, I really really like this one, definitely the best piece in your gallery. The smooth shading and photograph-like detail look absolutely amazing and I think the pose and anatomy are great too. But my favorite thing in this picture is his expression, it's so wicked! Keep up the great work!
I love that detail, very smooth. Great anatomy and design. Good job here, really. : ) That's some fine equipment you used there, I need special paper myself. All I have for now is simple double+A Quality paper. :/

Yeah, it unfortunate that I'm out of paper! And who knows when I'll get some more out here. But, it was extremely pertinent that I worked on the mascots as soon as possible, so I ended up flipping a page over and drawing on the back side of an older drawing I didn't much care for.
Thanks for the comments, I'm uploading the Water Mascot soon.
I am in love with the detail and how incredibly smooth the shading is. The scythe is super awesome too.

"Another fantastic person is the famous GearOtter. Check her out on deviantart.com, her art sucks dirt, but she has a posse almost as great as my own, a bunch of friends who suck up to her and get her page views. Go geary."

Thanks a bunch for the warm comment. I like this one a lot too, and it seems to be my more popular piece amoung friends. I liked the expression myself but I've been told it could use improving. Thanks again.

You might even be one hell of a profesional, but if you don't SHOW it and PROVE it, how will everyone know? These facts are important not only when you are looking for a job, but in any situation when you wish to showcase your work. I decided to share a few guidelines that might help you give the best of yourself and help you be a better profesional.

You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. She's consistently reports on contests around dA, showcases the efforts of her fellow artists and shows her charitable side through various activities. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More
