Yeah it's always good to keep an open book instead of doing only a couple of things that work for you. I can't get stuck on one thing either or it will drive me crazy and I'm sure others.
However in the winter months, I tend to get more creative with things that don't involve landscape, skyscape and so on..

I hate the winter month ... at the moment the weather is bad and rainy and yeah. The only thing I can photograph are drops and maybe my rabbits, but they aren't amused about this

Try using vintage jewelry or just really neat jewelry and a mirror. It would not be just drops then.
