Nice pic, emotions are delivered well, especially through the eyes and im lovin the subtle lighting effects in the background. As for the meaning, there is a chunk of his right ear missing. Perhaps due to an injury in earlier life, this fits in with the fact he is covering his right eye, which may be damaged slightly due to this injury. I'm wondering if those aren't actually spots on his shoulder and eye, maybe they're burns, inflicted on him by a certain red fire dragoness, whose name begins with H and ends with an S. Any guesses to who I'm talking about?
