Hello!
First of all I want to ask you one important question: Do you want a DSLR or a compact camera?

Well, for the beginning I would recommend beginner DSLRs like the Canon 650D or the 1100D. When you look for Nikon, I would search for the D3000/3100 or the Nikon D5000/5100/5200. :aww:

I actually have a question related to that.
Do you need a dslr? I would love one, of course, but they're all out of my price range at the moment.
I suppose the question is what is the big difference between dslrs and compact cameras. I've been reading about them both, but I'm not quite comprehending more than you can change out lenses on the dslr and it seems to be "better".
Could you please clear this up, darling? I promise that I'm not trying to be stupid. :)

I will try to do that. :)
I already tried out many compact cameras from different price ranges, and all I can say is that the depth of field made by a DSLR is much deeper than a compact camera could ever take.
Of course you can take great pictures with a compact camera, and I watch some people that do so, but I prefer a DSLR. The cheapest ones are around 400€, so it's affordable with a bit of saving.
Did that help you a bit? :)

That helped so much! Thank you! :) :D
