Yup. Basically. It has to be a conspiracy. They don't want to allow us to make nice socks. No. They don't.
But they make the best gifts, handmade socks I envy the people who can crank out pairs of hand-knit socks every week. Without a machine, even. Insane.

We need to find friends who knit. So they can bestow upon us the blessing of great socks.
