Melian doesnt get enough artwork of her, she's so important, a very important part of Aragorn's lineage. Part Elf, Part Human and part Maia! You get why he's so badass, looking back on it.

Aragorn is the MAN. Yes, I always feel like a lot of the women get sort of left out of the epicness of the Silmarillion. I'm definitely planning on Melian, CERTAINLY Luthien (maybe even Beren) and since I am terrible at drawing men and really need the practice I'll have to put a few of these Elf-men on my list.
I'm working on doing a composition of Fingon when he sings and plays his harp among the cliffs of Angband to seek out Maedhros. TOTAL BROMANCE MOMENT.

Honestly, dashing off without listening to anyones advice on a complete suicide mission to look for someone who is probably dead? Fingon and Medhros are such an adorable Bromance, but so sad ;_;
I'd like to see you try Luthien, your style suits her I would think. Ack, I feel like I should draw more silmarillion stuff but I'm much more of a dwarf drawer than an elfy one.

yay dwarfs! I wish I could draw Dwarfs better but they're so angular, and I find that a bit challenging. The only thing about Dwarves I really enjoy drawing is their beards. Beards are fun to draw.
I had a mind at one point to do portraits of everyone in the Fellowship, and perhaps a few extras like Eowyn and Faramir...that is a BIG project. I have to think about that before I dive in haha.

Beards ARE fun, I have a beard fetis, all the men I draw have beards unless they are elves... probably why I dont like drawing them so much ^^'
I also like to draw blemishes on the skin and age lines and things, again not so much for elves so *shrug* I always draw Dwarves with angular armour and clothing but thick rounded muscles and things.
