Comment on Black End - January 2024 Update by Enshohma
Funny thing, I typed that article on Black End in Ultra wiki before the power-hungry, hypocritical admins booted me from the site for being too good.
I'm surprised and a bit disappointed that Black End (along with Jumbo King) didn't have much of an impact as a final monster for a show, (granted Alien Valkie wasn't up to snuff either but DID return in Mebius) but it's most likely for the reason you said on Leo's troubled success.

So sorry for not replying to this earlier, but I get the sad feeling that fan Wiki really don't like level-head, prolonged articles.
I'd be tempted to do some myself, but the rewards are limited, if not non-existent, like all the work I did on Wikipedia's "Ultra Seven" monster profiles long ago.
At least I have the pages of this site to flew my knowledge, and may need your help in the future for particular Ultra Monsters:

I had to re-watch the ep and give Enshohma my brief synopsis, So some of this I wrote, but Enshohma really did a well job at putting all the info here and there and made it a lot simpler to understand from my really rough draft of it. 
A lot of the monsters in the showa era of Ultraman really did not have much of an impact, other than Z-Ton and Pandon. Even stuff like the mammoth in 80. While I understand why the Ultra's never fought it, the monster itself was still a bit of a disappoint. It shows up and freezes a city. Basically what Peguila does
