The episode seems to be getting some mixed reactions, some really liked the episode while others seem to pawn it off as "a bad fanfiction of an episode". Personally I think some fans are overreacting in saying that the episode was downright awful. My biggest complaint would be that the ending felt rushed like this episode would've worked better as a two-part episode. the common critiques of this episode I see are as follows but are not limited to: 1. The ending was rushed 2. Everyone was acting too OOC (out of character) 3. The reason for Celestia releasing Discord 4. "Why did Discord become good by the end of the episode?" (this is kind of related to the rushed ending). In my opinion this is not the best episode ever, there was room for improvement, but it's certainly not the worst (I think "Mysterious Mare Do Well"as the worst episode holds that title for me).
