A simple " no Thanks" would have worked for me. But " fishy Journals?" " Stooping Low? " Targeting Aspiring Youth ?" " I'm a Busiinessman ( and not an artist)" Self-Righteous-Annonymity-much? LOL. Have you read the article? or skimmed through it before reaching to your own perceived conclusion and rushing to the keyboard for my attention? :

"Through the Warner Bros. Reach program, ONE outstanding student is awarded the Hanna-Barbera/Animation Honorship each year that includes a scholarship and four full-time paid internships at the company during four consecutive summers while enrolled in college. Successful Reach program graduates will be eligible for full-time positions at Warner Bros."

I'm under the impression that you've " Worked for peanuts and got treated like dirt " at WB, or maybe Sony, or maybe Nickelodeon, or any studio that offers a program for you to learn WHILE you're in Colleged getting your degree. In the end students have a right to choose what they want with the options out there available for them to learn, or not learn. Whether it's going through a school program or going at it on your own.

P.S. It's safe to say that my Journals are ALWAYS about pushing upliftment and information to the forefront for artists who arentin the know in an attempt to put them on to the industry as much as i can. They've done more for my followers here and DA than you have. I'm not high-jacking your page with baseless troll-rants and trying to discourage your followers from participating in your Pokemon Fanart polls and fanzines. Please be nice. :-)

I still stand by my statement. Although you are not wrong about people being able to go through the industry this way, it is better for someone to go to art school/animation school what have you and there are easier ways to get scholarships than for a bunch of high schoolers and animators to fight tooth and nail over each other for this grand prize you have quoted.

I'm not trying to discourage you from posting what you would like in your journals of course, but I am also entitled to my opinion. I'm sure there are some people who are skimming these comments who will take it upon themselves to do the extra research.

I admit, I jumped the gun when I accused you of these things that I realistically do not know for sure, but I am not wrong about how industries target the youth when they are straight out of college or animators without degrees. As I have said before, I do respect you and your work and I still do, but I'm wary of your journals because I do not want aspiring artists to be mislead.

I hope that you will think less of what I am saying as an attack and more as a great concern.

You have every right to be entitled to your opinion and speak your mind. And i have every right to speak the contrary and contest it. I also beleive it's not your responsibility to play shepard. freedom of opinion is awesome...if you understand that it's a privilege and with that comes responsibility and accountability for what's said. You seem to be too smart and know better and this conversation would be different had i been at a line encouraging kids to check it out. Because you don't know me, that's the convenience of the keyboard: it perpetuates a desire for our thoughts to be taken seriously through text in a conversation that would otherwise be avoided in a real-time confrontation in person. I could also Block you if you'd like, to quell your concerns about my "fishy," faux- capitalist journals that are steering the minds of innocent youth. Or we can just agree to disagree. Let me know & Good luck with your projects/ career this year.

You had my attention from your artistic ability. But now you have my respect as well.
