Probably best that they don't. Would you like to see your favourite characters stripped of all their defining qualities and made to be literally nothing more than background while Sonic does everything?
Hmm. I see where you're coming from, but I still think it'd be interesting and nice for them to have some acknowledgement, even if it is SEGA tainted.
The only thing that SEGA cares about now is money. They want to get rid of any significant trace of SatAM so they decided to SEGA-fy and reinvent the characters under it's copyright to fit the games.
This is to market Sonic Lost World and the upcoming Sonic Boom series (you can look it up), and as much as it is to our distaste from our group, it's working in their favor because the games are getting an increasingly higher gross after Colors and Generations.
This is actually a chain reaction after the disastrous Sonic 06, and they're trying to recover or even surpass their financial goal in order to one up the competition.
Yeah...we're living in dark times. Still, I am open minded to the new designs and actually like them. The only thing that I care about is how Archie is going to write the story now because of the reboot.
I agree. There's nothing we could do to change their decisions anyway. Things will always go in favor of the majority. May as well just go along for the ride
