ehh... as a tanker I can appreciate the turret, but the too short cannon(and the muzzle evac that would be completely un-needed for that length of a barrel) the flimsy-ness of the legs compared to the turret(and lack of space for stuff like the engine/fuel source, driver, armor over joints) tells me that you had a good concept, just didn't have much want/need to go full realistic

thanx for the honest comment!
being this a concept of a somewhat futuristic mech, i think we're talking about miniaturization, lighter and stronger materials and such :D

still begs the issue of the short cannon, generally, in firearms, short cannons lead to low velocities, so they don't have the accuracy, range, or penetration of longer barrels, so either that mech is not for an anti-armor role, or it cannot support a longer barrel.

Then the bore evac. Those are only needed on modern tanks due to a thing called flashback, in which gases from the bore come back into the interior of the vechicle when the breach drops, which usually only burns off eyebrows, BUT, if the ammo doors are open(or the ammo is just laying around the turret like an older T-series tank, it'll ignite the ammo blowing the vehicle in half). Due to the shortness of the barrel it would be unneeded because the gases would be more easily able to escape the bore and the lower pressures involved.

Also, the driver. Unless if the vehicle is driven by computers(in which, oh god, I would never ride in the damn thing) the driver would be forced to sit in the turret, which, if you don't know, is already very cramped. So unless if he is replacing a crew member(probably the gunner, since an auto-loader would occupy the space the loader would so you just can't replace him, and the TC(tank commander) has to be in every vehicle, and in modern Abrams already can shoot both the main gun and coax from his position.) But as seen in Vietnam, Korea, and a couple modern attempts, sticking the driver in the turret, even with the most modern and best visual equipment, suffer from a disorientation coming from the traversing of the turret while the vechicle is moving.

And finally, the armor on the legs. Simply, you can see servos and such. They may be cool to look at, but if I was some jerk off with an anti-mech weapon, that's where I would aim. And not to mention IED's explode from the bottom up usually(and the ones exploding downward usually grenade sized ones dropped onto the turret hoping they'll land in one of the hatches.

But still, don't let me nit-pick this to hell. It's still a very well drawn mech, which has nice details such as the Humvee in the background and the inclusion of the Ma-deuce(may we always have the mighty deuce) and the weather effets are some of the better I've seen.

Thank you for the great art and thank other you for saying in greater detail what i was thinking.

your welcome, I just hope I didn't insult the artist by nitpicking it
