This is probe lay my fav artwork I have seen in months. It's not amazing, which is why I love it. Look at other peoples, and it just doesn't look real. It's too good, and not belivible that some human did it. This is, and it shows your talent. The simple details make a huge impact. The black background, the look in nmm's eyes is stunning, and the shine reflecting the rainbow just makes it look better. The different brushes, the sizes, the simple ness, the shading...
I take it back. It is amazing. Much more amazing than any art of nmm I have EVER seen. And that's saying a lot. A fav for you, a comment, and once I check the rest of your gallery, maybe a watch.

I agree with you in that it's not perfect, not by far. The lines are really rough, and my shading techniques have improved a lot since then; the picture is a little flat. But over a year later and I'm still pretty happy about it. I tried putting as much emotion into her expression as I could, so I'm glad that you were able to recognize it. Plus I'm a sucker for rainbows.
In the last few months I've been doing a lot to try and saturate my pictures with a lot of colors, and this was definitely one of the first steps towards that.
It was really interesting trying to incorporate the rainbow in her eyes like you mentioned.
