Well, everyone has different tastes in shipping. I suppose in my case it's because I think they are way competitive with each other all the time. I only see Applejack with Rarity (mostly) or Fluttershy.
I like to think that Applejack could be really girl. I do love your pictures of the mlp pairings. Your pictures are the reason I like RainShy.
