Your point may be valid, yet it doesn't apply to this picture. The point was to underline the consequences of her becoming an alicorn, not that celestia may have been cruel with her decision. Destiny or not, she's an alicorn. The only question is whether alicorns have extended lifespans or not. :/ Thanks for commenting though
