Let's say I used your pictures (found via google) for my commercial (which would earn me money) and even tho it would be pointed out to me that I need permission first, I would still use your pictures. Would that be okay? No.
Imho it's (Inderect) commercial use, but the point is, that in the example given I would be breaking your rights (you have copyright over your art) and the possibility you don't allow your artwork to be used in such use.
To illustrate the idea, you could've used normal open sources or your own artwork. The point in all this is to respect someone elses work. To give credit when due (wherever you used/posted the thing)....and to ask for permission BEFORE you used the pictures.
