Mostly because tha villains seem to have tha same freedoms that we do, sometimes even more so after tha fact!

Tha bright side is that, whether you believe in God or tha simple causality of tha universe(reap what you sow and all that), tha gulity end up getting what's comin to em eventually but after ruining it for others!
