They did find a tooth-like structure on the palate which is found in some egg-eating snakes on an Oviraptor. Either that or a close relative, but it was used to crack the shell of an egg while it was in its mouth

Uh... Snakes swallow eggs whole; they don't use any sort of palate. Besides, sharing a single structure doesn't mean that two animals eat the same things. For example, both parrots and eagles have hooked beaks, and they have completely different diets.

Swallowing an egg whole would have no nutritional value, so there's a little knob that cracks the egg so the snake can eat the contents of the egg. And it's just an idea. No one really knows what they ate. Its just our best guess.
