Well, it could need some better defences on the tail-section... 
That was the back points of the design but if you check the battles ever one of them are broadside ones, from ww1 to late ww2!

Mate, with those guns, it doesn't need any defense except AA guns, and maybe torpedo tubes, most German ships other battleships would encounter had less range and precision, by the way, which one you think is more beautiful? the Graf Spee or the Bismarck?

Because as soon as I was like six, or seven years, I was inspired by Bismarck, it was awesome! Anyways, I found with a lot about Graf Spee, and I thought that it was a very neat ship!
But, to decide... Well,

Hard to decide. I like them both most.
But I enjoy Graf Spee's Superstructure, AND it's Torpedo-Turrets, reminds me of the Japaneese ones!
And what do you think?

The Graf Spee is extremely beautiful, and the Bismarck too, I prefer the Graf Spee because of it's lines, like sleek, but deadly versatile.
Oh! Yeah, I love GS's Plane-Catapult!
