Are you just running the live version on a usb drive? Or is it actually installed on the usb?
It's actually installed on the USB so I can boot it from any PC.
Do you know of any good tutorials for installing it / setting it up that way? I would really like to have a usb version. Is it running as a live cd-type image or is it fully installed? I know how to set up a live USB, but I've never installed the system to use it as the main/boot drive. I'm a #! noob xD
I used a linux iso in a virtualbox and installed as usual. The USB is basically the same as any drive so I just installed directly to there. Select your USB drive during setup and format it as you normally would, then proceed with the install. Once it is installed if you boot from USB (set in BIOS) it should boot into linux using the systems hardware. Best thing is that it is portable.
