Oh no problem! I think I actually already have a paras and a seel, but I wanted to help you out. I know how annoying those online trades can be. People will offer a regular untrained magikarp and ask for a mew! lol
Wow, you got that far by just trading parases??? I didn't know that they were in such high demand! lol Yeah, I tried getting all the pokemon in the 4th gen, but gave up after I missed the arceas event. I guess I was just too disappointed to continue

seriously, parases are the way to go. I offered a newborn on the GTS for a kabutops as a joke a few weeks ago and 30 seconds later, someone sent me one. I tested it again by requesting a salamence and somebody sent me a level one-hundred one. so I just decided to start from bulbasaur and see if I could make it. I name them all Keenan, if you ever want to help me out. 
those events. it sucks that the only way you can fill it is by luck. I'd rather a really hard dungeon/mountain challenge that you had to get through then having the game at the right time.

I TOTALLY AGREE! I remember back when I played Ruby and I had to climb up sky pillar to try and catch a Rayquaza! Man, now THAT was epic! I hate it when they just hand you pokemon, and have it only available through an event! At least in Platinum they made you work a little to get shaymin and Darkrai, unlike in Diamond and Pearl. I was so disappointed when they just handed it to me after expecting to get to go to the island and everything. But with both, you still had to go to some event to get it.

I'd give you an arceus if mine didn't have the stupid "friendship and wishes" ribbon that keeps you from offering it up for trade.
lol don't you love it when they do that? Or when they give you a special pokemon and say "It's so special, it can't even evolve!" like that pichu with the spikey ear? Or could it evolve, but when it did, it looked completely normal? I don't remember.
Well, thanks anyway about the Arceus! I'm sure with the new Pokemon games coming out, they'll have another exclusive event in which to get it. They always do...
