Lol, well, I am a beanpole, (I stand inches over everyone around me. I got the nerdy beanpole gene that'd make me a professional basketball player if I ever really had the mind to play it. :P), yet everyone says I am a ninja. So :P

Ahh I see. I'm of the build that I should have been on the football or wrestling team. But I was never really into sports. I like martial arts, but never got fully into training. My dad's friend was pretty good at it, all certified and stuff. Heas going to teach me, but he got into a car accident and it messed up the pin in his back(previous martial arts injury) and had to stop, so I never picked it up. Now, I'd have to go to college for sports and all that stuff, and college in this town is a big clusterfuck of its own.

I like martial arts too, but never had official training. Everything I know came from experience, and honestly most of it is military techniques... I've never been one for sports either, except for baseball but I quit playing it when I was young. Probably will never go back into sports, but oh well.

I guess what little I learned wasn't all that official either. Same here doubt I'll get into any kind of sports at this point. Taking up martial arts is about the only thing that is likely.

Yup, same. And I'd like to pick it up sometime too. My best friend is a black belt and is probably willing to teach me provided I can ever find time XD But see, I'm cheap, I don't want to pay to learn XD

I wouldn't mind paying(if I had the money). But I don't want no watered down Karate bullshit. I want real tried and true Martial arts. I also am not all that interested in that UFC kind of shit. I'm looking for the genuine article, and I think that would be the real tough part of going about this.

True, true. I believe it is getting harder and harder to find that these days. I'm with you though, I would prefer learning the genuine article than anything else.
