I don't know what "hitbox" is (BTW I'm romanian) xD. I'm a Stencyl begginer (Only used for like 2 weeks). PM me with tutorial ? 
It is the area that collision-detection occurs in.
The area where you check to see if the nyan is on the platform or not doesn't necessarily need to include the tail or hind legs.
