the word seniority is defined both by rank and by longevity. I consider it an honorary rank.
dA is a community,one that contains 24 million users. there's a logical limit to how many different people one person can reasonably be able to interact with. if you haven't hadn't had opportunity to interact with a particular batch of seniors, that's hardly an indictment of those seniors' breadth of community involvement. I was a fairly active deviant for 3 or 4 years before I had even heard of a senior member. but it was my head in the sand, not theirs.
