Thank you again! :huggle:

The problem with adding too much on the background is - like you pointed out - that the character can get lost there. And I have also difficulties to create feeling of depth instead making everything look like they're close to each other, on a same level. I should remember to make more blurred stuff on the distance and also use colder tones for farther objects... It is easy in theory but more complicated in practice. :XD:

Haha, yeah... it is tricky. I think you actually do quite well considering! This one definitely has some sense of distance. It would probably have a bit more if the cliffs in the foreground were a little less purple than the mountains in the background, maybe a little more... earthy. But I know from experience sometimes when I try that sort of thing, sometimes the picture gets too "busy." How you've got it works, especially because there's still some actual distance from the equine figure. You seem to be able to do really subtle blending even in pencil so I think there's plenty of room for fine-tuning, but still, even as it is I like it!

I am glad to hear that! And next time when doing a picture like that I try to pay even more attention to feeling of distance. Even if it is decent here it can always be better. :D

Haha, yes, you most certainly can, I look forward to seeing how you handle this sort of thing in the future. ^_^
