sydney, definitely. outside the city, a little more reasonable :D

my first foreign sticker shock was in 2004 over a pint of beer in Helsinki where I paid nine Euro, at the time about $14 canadian. same thing back here was $5 to $7 depending on the brand for local brew...

A schooner of beer over here varies from $4 to $5. Not sure how close to a pint a schooner is.
