My cat is doing the EXACT same thing. She's getting old and crusty and she's one of those tabbies that are all "Rawr don't touch me human!!! D<" and now she's actually letting me pet her and scritch her. Nasty ol' bugger of a cat, but she's getting nicer now. She sat on my lap the other day. SHE NEVER DOES THAT. :B
This is such a beautiful piece... I love the textures that you've used in places, they really bring this to life.
Wow, my cat still doesn't sit on my lap. xD But I can pick him up and hold him longer then I used to.
