Mark Smylie is the writer of the the Artesia comics. They are pretty cool and the art is really good. But about 2006 is just stopped drawing them because he got 'too busy'. He's written a novel in the world, he's come out with an rpg book in the world, he's completely revamped his website about his comic book twice, but he still hasn't added a single page to the story since he stabbed his main character through the chest with a sword. Quite the clifhanger, and he insists that the character isn't dead... he's just not working on the comic. Which put him at about 3.5 graphic novels out of the 7 to 22 that were promised. Not unusual for a fantasy comic author, but I still call him a flake.
Maybe I'm just jealous that he's produced more art then I have, but then again I haven't gone about breaking promises either.
Your work, as usual, is amazing. Thanks for posting, I always enjoy seeing what you come up with next.
