We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. And... I'm always here if you need help with Flash. As for me, I'm not just programing simple games. I'm working on the concept of a RPG-styled "community". Check it out here. The way I move the character is simple, though.
As for the grafics, I use tilesets. So every part has the same width and height, perfect to move the character. I don't know what style your dream-game is like. But you can ask everytime. I like Action Script very much
