Comment on Warmth by CygX1

I read the first comment and see her point, but 'warmth' is a very subjective word which lends itself to many interpretations.

My first impression was of a wall sconce, with a lit candle inside, throwing off a soft and gentle light. You used warm colors which are slightly toned, creating more a sense of embers than of fire (....hence the title). You've succeeded so well in making this image glow with gentle heat, I imagine that I should be able to hold my hands out to the monitor and feel the warmth throught the screen.

Thanks Kat, I have worked very carefully on this one, both on the shapes and colors, in an attempt to depict a pleasing sensation of... warmth! As you say, this word can have many interpretations, from simply agreeable to intensity and passion, and according to the dictionary, it's also "The glowing effect produced by using predominantly red or yellow hues". And you know I like words :-)

You're welcome, Luc.

I'll need to think carefully about some of the titles you choose for your images, as there may be as much going on in the words as in the pictures.
