Free 3D arts program. Buy most of the figures. You can get a basic man and woman free. Some clothes. You pay for the characters and items you want. From about $2 to about $70, depending on how good it is, or how old it is. The sea monster and dragon that looks much like it are $2 each. The new and improved dragon base is about 40, and the skins, poses, and extras run about 30.

Check out the Bryce section too. It does the scenery. Free. Buy the buildings, etc.

Oh that's cool.

Not bad! Takes some serious practice to get the things and characters to do what you want. You can morph anything, basically. I was checking out the scales on the Vicky morphs. I turned her around, and her butt crack was sticking out! It had become a butt ridge!

I'm sticking to the skeleton for the time being. For some reason, no skin seems to be easier for me to work with right now. I'll probably try a new skin on the sea dragon. Wouldn't a fractal skin be wild?

haha!
A fractal skin would be wild.
What are fractals for, anyway?

They are the graphical representations of mathematical formula progressions. When the formula, or progression step is changed, it was found that this dramatically changed the visual representation. When computers came onto the scene, it was found that, not only were they fascinating math problems, but the progressions made amazing visual representations in their own right.

Bottom line. They're way cool to look at. Apophysis is a free fractal generator. It generates what are called flame fractals. That's where the entire figure isn't filled with the color, just the points at each progression.

Enough lesson. Go download a free copy of Apophysis 2.4 Beta ~noxious-cherub has the link in her journal.
