Hurray for Miyazaki worship! I was so young the first time I saw a Miyazaki movie... Kiki's Delivery Service. The only movies of his I haven't seen are 'The Cat Returns' and 'Porco Rosso.'
I think my first was Princess Mononoke- It was the first to really go mainstream in North America. I was lucky to see many of the others during my Japanese class at high school.
I haven't seen Porco Rosso either ( I tried but the pig people just kept grossing me out XD ) but I very much recommend The Cat Returns, it's one of my favourites ^o^
"GREAT FOREST SPIRIT, WE GIVE YOU BACK YOUR HEAD!" XD I remember the first time I saw that movie. The Nightwalker was the coolest thing ever. And I've been trying to watch TCR, but things just keep happening!
I've only seen the first half of Naausica, because it froze when I watched it when I was little. One of these days I'm gonna fix that. I mean, I friggin' OWN THE MOVIE. DX
