Hahah, well then! :lmao: It was pretty cool, I think Iron Man is Marvel's "Batman" if they would stop trying to make Wolverine play that role (which he cannot), that would help them a lot, but, I am just be a humble fan.

(This might get me trouble) If you ask me, the show's problem is it's over-whelming blandness. (Korra's) There's no sense of adventure, like we're going on a magical journey, it's more in the tone of "Whelp, this is Korra...she's pretty cute...and here's everyone's kids so you know it turned out okay...and here's some random bad guys....they don't like the Korra, Korra is in a political situation "

Forgive me to say, when I saw that stuff in the first 2 episodes I doubled over laughing imagining kids wondering why Korra just didn't punch out the grumpy adults who tell Korra "no" that stuff is going to fly over their heads, political stuff flies over adult's heads.

It also suffers from what a lot of sequels suffer from, Korra's case, changing the premise so harshly in a way that hurts what the fans liked about the original. The original was simple and wacky, and I'm sorry to say, that is what happened to G.I. Joe Renegades as well, they turned G.I. Joe into the A-Team for some reason, but all fans wanted was Cobra Commander running around yelling because G.I. Joe stopped him from launching the Statue of Liberty into space. Good Guys vs Bad Guys, with some adventure and comedy.

Everything in the modern era of cartooning is trying to be so dark and serious, I think they forget they are going to work for places called Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, and disney, then they wonder why they get canceled, when their all so "epic stories" go over kid's heads and they just want to see cool martial arts or bad guys getting caught.

But. I could be totally wrong, sorry for all that, just my take on it. :lmao:

Personally I love Korra. I love everything about it. I don't see how anyone could think of it as bland. I don't think there was a single episode where I didn't double over laughing.

I think it lives up to my expectations of a continuation of the world we were introduced to by ATLA.

Any changes from the original show are welcome to me. It is a little bit more serious, but not a whole lot. It's just switched from being geared toward kids to being geared towards teens.

I hardly think I would describe the show as dark, either. Probably the darkest thing in the show is the blood-bending which was also in the original show (and awesome in both)
