It's a nice thought, but even if he's changed, Edmond is a tough nut and probably wouldn't take him back anyway. Plus he's got a few other brothers who could be the heirs. And besides, Kita's royal family are Chachi's characters, not mine - Kito just cameos in her story, and Kita in mine. 
True, but I think that he'd forgive to have one of his children back. And I know his Family is Chachi's idea that you just adapted, but she made it seem like Kita was the only other heir, since she was the princess Edmond was raising for the throne, and why he found a mate for her and was so upset she left. If you intended for Kito and Kita to have more siblings, neither of you have shown that. If if she's doing like real life monarchies, then Kita would only have been the heir if she had no other brothers. You know, kings before queens.
I'm sure if you ask Chachi, she'll allow you to use her idea since you've already implemented it as Kito's backstory. If its canon, I don't see why you can't use it for your story. But it's just an idea, so you can do whatever you decide.XD
No, no, CHACHI was the one that said they had multiple siblings. At least I think so. It wasn't my idea at least. And as for the monarchy and how it works, ask Chachi. It's possible Kita was chosen to be the heir just because she was the best choice of her siblings. I dunno how Chachi wanted hierarchy to work in the wild Pokemon world.
And since Kito's past has little to no relevance to Rooke the Trainer's story, I don't have much desire to use it. It's Chachi's story, she just let me have a cameo in part of it.
Oh, alright. I just wasn't sure on that. I just thought it'd make a good after story point if Rooke has to leave all of her Pokemon. I'd like to think they got good homes, and it seems like Kito could give them one if he could return home, to be king or not.
On that note, have you decided what will happen to the team when Rooke's journey is finished? It's getting close.
The story is all finished, don't worry. I wrote it first and then started the comic. So you'll find out what happens to Rooke's team.
