Ahunno, the newer work looks more refined with more depth of colour and shading but the older work has a really nice aged medieval/art nouveaux feel about it that corresponds well with the fantasy and mythological aspects of the characters. I can appreciate how beautiful and polished the newer work is, but personally I'm a massive fan of the older more archaic looking stuff ^_^ May also be the content, I'm a sucker for fantasy and anthro/zoological :3
