That's adorable. ^_^ evil kitty.
My cat use to do that too. My bed and desk were side by side so I'd be sitting at my desk and he'd sink his claws into my braid and pull.

I can sympathize. My cat always tries to drink out of my water buckets and walk through both my paintings and paints. She has on several occasions tipped over my water onto all of my supplies. Never on a painting yet, which is a very big relief. But I have had big fear for my watercolor pads....
