But seeing this tent *finally* finished is more rewarding than anything I could have possibly hoped for. 
I'm glad you feel that way, actually. Sometimes the work is its own best reward, to be sure.
I still worry about your financial welfare, though. I have no idea why; I just do. I guess I sorta feel like you deserve to have financial stability, if only so you can continue to grow as an artist. Kinda just want that for you.

Yes, it is frustrating at times. The uncertainty of any finances coming in is often grinding and depressing.... I know I will never have things others take for granted, like renting a nice place or be able to even afford and run a car. But that's fine with me. I have chosen this path, and I guess I would be really unhappy if I would not be able to do what I love most. The knowledge that there are people out there who care about my well being does help a great amount. I do hope I can grow as an artist eventually, I just wish I wouldn't need to fear for something stupid as money all the time...

Occasionally! The problem is, most people are not willing to *spend* money on art. I do a lot of exhibitions but end up spending more on those than I make. It is something most people seem to take for granted... and then there are the big companies, who would be interesting to work for, they rather commission the big names. BUT when one has an opportunity like this tent design, one just has to go for it!! I hope this will advertise my name and lead eventually to more commissioned work by companies. (Funny enough, Fieldcandy themselves have now some smaller design jobs for me. Nothing big, but all bread and butter...)
