Yes, though I once had a terrible (well, that's a little dramatic) experience involving that saying. Actually it destroyed a friendship I had with a really intelligent, sarcastic friend. She'd always add "Though I'm not sure yours is so great". It eventually apparently got to the point that she was afraid to look at me because I was always 'glaring' at her. Actually it was directed at the girl beside her, but eh.

Aw :/ It's sometimes uncomfortable/weird when people think you're staring at them while you're staring at person beside them/something behind them/just stare into space. I had it happening to me at school a lot ._.
'Uncomfortable' destroyed a friendship with an intelligent girl, so it's a little bit of an understatement. But it's really inconvenient that humans are naturally paranoid. -_-
