Hm....well what sort of things inspire you? Do you prefer animal or human characters? Maybe try mixing different kinds of animals together. (think Chimera) Or draw inspiration from something you like, maybe a fantasy series or even mythology. XD
Lots of different things inspire me, but to design outfits instead of characters XD
Now that you mention chimeras, I'm actually working on an original design costume of a river mermaid. Maybe I can turn that design into an OC nature sprite or something? If you want, I can draw you a picture of what I have in mind.

Really? Thanks! I loved that book as a kid X3. I wanted to use colors that I see in and around rivers and find a way to keep materials costs low(using what I have and what's cheap), so green, blues, and browns became my palate. One of the things that I forgot to mention in the side notes is that she has a smaller fluke because a larger one would get snagged on stuff like submerged logs and weeds.
As for the wig, I'm totally in love. I really hope I can get it soon. *puts on birthday wishlist*
