I didn't add a background because I just didn't have time; I had a deadline because I needed to mail my prints to Cali and couldn't bring them via suitcase. And I guess tbh I didn't feel like it haha? I liked it the way it was anyway
As for the bg the same could be said about Naguri's; or any other artist who did a 'blood splotch bg'. When prints are made of the same series by diff artists, ofc there's going to be a handful that look the same. The same thing happened with Korra prints.

I... don't want to play the knight in armor for anyone, but... I think this is a pretty common pose in the SnK fanart in general, because... yeah, well you got two blades, the possibility of doing many dynamic poses because they can 'fly', so I don't think anyone copied anybody (°n°) We tend to draw the same poses depending on the anime, it's not like you did original art, I think (^o^);
